Karla Edwards is an experienced employment attorney and conflict manager. She has over 20 years of labor and employment litigation experience that provides a strong foundation to assist our clients with astute investigations, training workshops, DEI strategies, mediations/facilitations, and executive coaching. Karla relies on a depth of knowledge, an understanding that comes with years of experience, and a calming approach to provide reliable guidance even during the most complex situations.

Karla is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She has represented employees and employers so approaches all parties with respect and emotional intelligence. Her broad experience spans representing litigants in private practice at a labor/employment law firm as well as a federal government agency in the field of labor and employment. She understands the competing dynamics and overlapping motivations of all sides (employees, employers and government agencies).

Karla is regularly invited to speak at continuing legal education presentations provided by the Texas Bar and the State Bar of Texas, Labor & Employment Section. Her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, cum laude, is from Centenary College of Louisiana, and her law degree is from St. Mary’s University, School of Law.

Karla is based in our Dallas office but travels routinely to meet the needs of our clients.
