Jason Braun, an attorney with over 20 years of experience in the private and public sectors, is a thorough and highly effective investigator known for his tenacity in uncovering the facts and a wide range of strategies for eliciting witness testimony. Immediately prior to joining DeDe Church & Associates, Jason served as a senior enforcement attorney for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). During his tenure there, Jason oversaw numerous complex investigations into Ponzi schemes, insider trading, and accounting fraud. Jason began his legal career with Haynes Boone and was also a partner at Ajamie LLP, a prominent litigation boutique firm specializing in financial fraud and complex commercial litigation.

In addition to investigations, Jason is an expert in effective communication for leadership teams and is a talented and energetic public speaker, selected to present numerous continuing legal education seminars.

A native of Orange County, California, Jason attended college on a football scholarship before injuries turned his attention to the law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management from Wayne State College and then his J.D. summa cum laude at Creighton University School of Law.

Jason has been selected for several “Top Attorney” lists and previously was honored by the Houston Business Journal as one of Houston’s “40 Under 40.”

In his spare time, Jason enjoys (slowly and painfully) learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Jason lives in Fort Worth with his wife, Vianei, and a pack of rescue Chihuahuas.
